Kgotso Maloka scoops a Baroka FC two year deal

Baroka Football have confirmed the signing of Kgotso Maloka from Highlands Park’s Multichoice Diski side on a two-year deal and Vision View Sports Radio is ecstatic because the young gentleman stems from our very own Mogale City high schools’ tournament which began last year.

The league started with 10 high schools (Kagiso and Krugersdorp based) from April to August and a total of 84 matches were played during that time, with Mosupatsela High School being crowned Champions for 2019. The steering committee is led by all the principals of all participating schools as well as Senior Management at Vision View Productions.

“From the beginning we sought to position the league as a highly organized and professional set up, providing opportunities for top refereeing, scouts and coaching mentoring by mentors who have played at the highest level in SA,” said Thabang Ketshabile, who heads the CSI division in the company.

The tournament is a true intervention for the community because for every game, Vision View Sports Radio had the responsibility to provide food and transport to each squad plus officials. A total of 2 184 meals were provided to the players and coaching staff during the period of the tournament.

The company congratulates Kgotso and is happy to have heeded the need in the area because in its inaugural year, we’ve seen 2 players signing with PSL teams, Kgotso and Thato Letshedi who has played all 16  MDC games for Black Leopards FC. This also motivates other young ones that we are working with that their dreams are as valid as they are possible.
