26 Jun DIDA BOXING: Day of the Reckoning

Dida Boxing Promotions, in association with Vision View Sports radio, brings yet again another boxing
spectacle featuring seven bouts that include the much anticipated rematch and title fight featuring
Thato “Captain Charisma” Bonokoane and Innocent “Tycoon” Mantengu.

The boxing event, dubbed “Day of Reckoning, Reloaded” takes place at the Kagiso Memorial and
Recreation Centre, Mogale City on Friday 28th June from 18h00.

The main bout between Bonokoane and Mantengu is a sequel to their fight which ended in a
controversial draw at the same venue on 30th March 2019. The two will be fighting for the vacant
South African Junior Featherweight title.

Meme Dipheko of Dida Promotions said this is a title fight, so there has to be a decision. “We are
reloaded. Team Dida feel the victory. There is no way Bonokoane is not bringing the title back home”
Dipheko said.

Also billed to exchange blows on the same night are the following:
1. Linda Ntshingila vs Simon Dladla (FOR THE GAUTENG JUNIOR MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE)

3. Kabelo Bikitsha vs Ripfomelo Shikhwambane (JUNIOR LIGHTWEIGHT TITLE – 6 rounds)

4. Shervoghteig Koopman(GP) vs Wandile Ndlela (GP) (JUNIOR MIDDLEWEIGHT – 4 rounds)
5. Ashton Davies (GP) vs Brian Shakoane (GP) (LIGHTWEIGHT TITLE – 4 rounds)
6. Cain Dube (GP) vs Fanny Mnguni (GP) (JUNIOR FEATHERWEIGHT – 4 rounds)
The boxing extravaganza that has become a quarterly feature at the Kagiso Memorial Hall is proving
to be an exciting and popular event to look forward to. Some one thousand spectators are expected
to attend.
